Super easy seven-layer homemade dip with beans, Guacamole, sour cream, Salsa, cheese, tomatoes and olives!Perfect for picking tortilla chips!

7 layer Dip is a classic snack, especially for watching games like football and basketball, not to mention serving at parties or to take away for a Potluck and/or picnics! As the name suggests, this dip is made up of 7 layers of delicious ingredients and I like the layers of refried beans, Guacamole, sour cream, Salsa, cheese, fresh tomatoes and black olives and you can change the ingredients to your liking! I like to use homemade ingredients whenever possible, but store-bought products definitely make things easier and faster! The best part of this dip is dipped with tortilla chips and guarantees that you get a Portion of each layer with every bite! Delicious!

Seven Layers Dip

Total Duration: 10 Minutes
Servings: 8 (8 Servings 1 Cup!)


1 cup of beans
1 cup of Guacamole
1 cup sour cream
1 cup of Salsa
2 cups Cheddar (and/or Monterrey Jack) cheese, grated
1 cup diced tomatoes
2 green onions, chopped
1 tablespoon chopped cilantro (optional)
1/4 Cup Pitted and sliced black olives


Spread the refried beans on the bottom of a large bowl (like a pie plate), followed by the Guacamole, sour cream, Salsa, cheese, tomatoes, green onions, cilantro and olives.

Have fun picking Tortillas!

Tip: Prepare the refried beans, Guacamole, Salsa the day before.
Tip: Prepare all the dip the day before and store it, covered, in the refrigerator.

Option: Use Salsa Ranchera instead of Salsa! (Or your favorite salsa!)
Option: Use Pico de Gallo instead of diced tomatoes, green onions and cilantro!

Tip: Use store-bought beans, Guacamole, Salsa and a store-bought Pico de Gallo instead of diced tomatoes, green onions and cilantro for a super easy Version!
